Keeping People on their Feet

Dangerous slippery paths, a solution : Carborundum coated anti slip plates.

Sloping paths  often  become dangerous when wet even when they have a course texture. Unfortunately many people seal porous concrete or cement finishes that glaze the surface which makes them critically dangerous even when dry. A local catholic  school found that a path  used by parents and students before and after school had caused several people to fall when it got wet, even though it had a coarse stenciled concrete finish. This was resolved by using Carborundum coated plates used at 150 intervals. The multi coloured plates also became a pleasing aesthetic feature that enhanced the appearance as well as its improved function.
