At Robina on Queenslands Gold Coast ,Gripfix was able to apply Gripguard to a broad area of outdoor tiles helping to make the residents feel more secure as they moved about Villa Serena. Gripguard not only improved the slip resistance of tiles in the wet but also made then less slippery when dry.    

GripFix offers a wide range of products across Southern Qld and Northern NSW that will make slippery surfaces much safer. GripFix specialises in making  hard porous surfaces less slippery with the application of GripGuard . GripGuard will improve slip resistance without degrading the tile, its appearance or aesthetic appeal. The treatment takes approx 4-5hrs to apply for about 5om2 and is trafficable imediately after treatment. It does not make the surface harder to clean and is a permanent slip resistant change that only requires normal routine cleaning and care. Porcelain tiles look great, are extremely hard wearing but  can be very slippery when wet.  They can also cloud and lose their sheen with some non slip treatments if not managed carefully. GripFix has had much success in making them  less slippery using a very controlled application of GripGuard.  Commercial offices on the Gold Coast had concerns with slippery porcelain tiles in their foyer and GripFix was able to improve their slip resistance. Using an American slip meter GripFix measured a static coefficient of friction (SCOF) of the tiles which  were in the unsafe range before treatment and were in the safe range after treatment. GripFix was also able to produce a consistent appearance across the floor  with only a slight change to their sheen.

GripFix applied Duragrip with antislip beads to cold room floor of leading pharmaceutical supply  company in Brisbane. The company required  is a durable and hard wearing surface  to overcome slipping problems on a polished concrete floor. DuraGrip is a polymer finish with glass beads that has been ramp tested to achieve R10 rating. Photo attached shows the coating being applied which dried to a satin finish. This coating also comes in a gloss finish.
